Palm Sugar is a natural sweetener made from “Nira” (Indonesian) or coconut tree (Cocos Nicifera), as an alternative to cane sugar sweeteners or other artificial sweeteners.

“Nira” is taken from the sap of palm tree nectar. In the process of evaporation, Nira not added anything, such as dyes and preservatives. So, “sap” which is taken from the nectar of trees were treated only just warming up the water content below 5%. That is what is called the palm sugar, coconut sugar in particular that we have. So, coconut palm sugar are very natural.
